“You’re not perfect, but you’re not your mistakes” – Kanye West

Hi! My name is Cristina and my goal as a therapist is not to fix people, instead, I take a collaborative approach to help clients discover their true potential. I believe experiences, including mistakes, shape a person’s character. Acknowledging and respecting a client’s view helps create a sense of empowerment which eventually promotes increased strength and resilience.

Working with at-risk youth for over 15 years from a variety of diverse backgrounds has been an honor and my passion. When counseling adolescents who have found themselves in and out of the juvenile justice and foster care systems, I primarily use a cognitive behavioral approach. My areas of focus include: behavioral, home and school problems, anger management, anxiety, stress, substance abuse, gang involvement, teen parenthood, juvenile delinquency.

My hope is to provide a safe and relaxed environment free from judgement. Regardless of our past, we all have the ability to grow. I look forward to being a part of your journey and am thankful for the opportunity to work side by side with you.
